Direct Marketing Mobile Site Re-Design
Asked to create a new version of an existing Mobile site in a day long sprint.
Although I prefer responsive design to standalone mobile sites, I agreed to rework the site. It was to be a direct marketing hi-fi prototype using most of the existing site’s content.
I decided to use scrolling functionality because I felt users would more likely read about the product’s key points if all of it was presented in one place. I chose to make the top three links available as pointers to jump to sections of interest quickly and provide user feedback on which sell points visitors were interested in most. I re-iterated the “Risk Free Trial” after every informational section with the thought that there was never a lost opportunity to buy, which was the main goal.
